William E. "Bill" Morris, Jr. William E. "Bill" Morris, Jr. was born June 19, 1945. He joined the US Navy and served in the United States Navy from 1964 and served until 1974 in Vietnam. He served as a Radioman First Class aboard the Richard L. Page (DGE-5), a Guided Missile Destroyer Escort from 1972 to1974. Bill attained the rank of TEC 5. After the service, Bill married Robin Rivers in 1973 and Robin joined him in his home port of Athens Greece. Returning to Delanco, the family was active at 1st Presbyterian Church in Delanco where Bill served as an elder. Bill served on the school board for twelve years and the planning board for six years. He served as Purchasing Agent of the Stepan Co. of Fieldsboro, NJ and worked there for about fifteen years until his retirement. The family lives on Perkins Lane. Bill died in Delanco on August 28, 2008 at age 63. He is buried in Monument Cemetery in Beverly. US Navy, TEC 5 USS Richard L. Page FFG/DGG-5 Vietnam 1945 – 2008
